Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on lilavryn.shop. Please read them before you order. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

lilavryn.shop is operated by EMMA VOWLES LIMITED, trading as LILAVRYN, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 07236800. Our products

We sell our own fashion jewellery: brooches, earrings, pendants and bracelets designed by LILAVRYN. Each product page states the size, materials, fastening and what you receive (for example, earrings are sold as a pair). Our pieces are made of plated brass, enamel, glass and cord; they are not made of solid gold or silver and contain no gemstones.

Product images show the design, colours and scale of each piece as accurately as we can. Enamel colours and plated finishes can vary slightly between pieces and on different screens.

Our jewellery contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 14. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Prices and currencies

Prices include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are added at checkout and are shown before you place your order; see Shipping & delivery.

You can view prices and pay in US dollars (USD), euros (EUR), pounds sterling (GBP), Danish kroner (DKK), Swedish kronor (SEK), Norwegian kroner (NOK) or Swiss francs (CHF). Prices in each currency are fixed by our price list and do not change with daily exchange rates. You pay the amount in the currency shown at checkout. If your card or account is in a different currency, your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees.

If a price is obviously wrong because of an error, we will contact you before accepting the order and you may cancel free of charge.

How a contract is formed

1. Choose a piece, select any options (such as chain length or size) and add it to your bag.
2. In your bag, check the pieces and quantities, then continue to checkout.
3. Enter your contact and delivery details and choose a payment method.
4. Review your order summary, including the total price and shipping cost. You can correct any input errors at this stage using your browser or by returning to your bag.
5. By clicking “Place order and pay” you submit a binding order.

We send an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order. The contract is concluded when we accept your order, which we do by sending an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept an order, for example because a piece is unavailable, we tell you and refund any payment immediately.

The contract can be concluded in English, German, Danish, French, Dutch or Swedish. We store the details of your order; you receive them by email and can view them in your account if you created one. These terms remain available on this page.

Payment

The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment service providers; we never see or store your full card details. Your payment is taken when you place your order. See Payments & security.

Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping & delivery page, with the delivery times and costs stated there. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you have named.

Cancellation, withdrawal and returns

You can cancel free of charge before dispatch. Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and we additionally accept returns of unworn pieces within 30 days of delivery. The conditions, the exception for unsealed earrings and the model withdrawal form are set out in our Returns & refunds policy. You can withdraw online at any time during the withdrawal period using Withdraw from contract here.

Faulty goods and your legal rights

We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. If something is wrong, contact us and we will put it right as set out in our Returns & refunds policy. Consumers in the European Union benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery; consumers in the United Kingdom have the rights set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We do not offer a separate commercial guarantee.

Normal wear of plated finishes and damage caused by water, chemicals, perfume or accidents are not faults. Our Sizes & care page explains how to look after your pieces.

Promotions

We do not currently run discounts or promotions. If we do in future, the conditions will be shown next to the offer, and discount codes can only be used as stated there.

Legal and export restrictions

We only sell to consumers in the countries listed on our shipping page, for their personal use. We do not sell for resale. Import rules of the destination country apply to every delivery; see our shipping page for information about duties and taxes.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

Personal data

We use your personal data only as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or elsewhere, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Please contact us first if you have a complaint; we aim to reply within one business day. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at the time you place your order applies to that order.
